Life is funny, no matter how greater or lessor you are it has a way of bring you back to earth. For years I believe that doing good is the right way to go, do not get it wrong I have done wrong and have great regrets. What I am talking about is as a kid I believe that there are three things in this world that you could hold on to and this country would reward you for it. The three things are services to country, education and family. These are the things that I regard as the greatest thing in this world. Do not get it confuse God is the greatest but God is not of this world.
After twenty years I now watch talks of Pro and Con about the wars that is being fought and I am at a lost to understand why the two cannot work out there different if both are talking in terms of country, family and service. The truth of the matter I do not see honest from either side what we seeing are power plays. Neither want to look weak why both are tearing this country down.
For those that are against the war I say do not go in a pull troop out with set deadline. I am against this war but I know that pulling out with set deadline or to early with cause more problems then it would solve. We must look at the long term advantage and disadvantage of pulling out and do it in a straight forward and honest way. Fund the troops needed and began to deal with the withdrawal as a separate issue. Do this openly without and not behind close door.
For those that are for the war stop calling other name and the personals attacks take a step back. As I stated earlier I served twenty years in the military and by the end of my first tour I understood what I were serving for, that is for those that disagree and the ones that agree with this war. The problem is we all need to stop speaking like donkey or elephant and began speaking as eagles. The eagles units us and the other two divides for there own personal use. You are right to agree if that is what you believe and I do respect you for it. Let us began to look like a country with different opinions and stop looking and acting like one working up to our own internal war.
If you support the troops began to push our leaders to take care of them with what is needed better health care for family member because tricare is a joke, better review of disability claim and within a reasonable time, stop having the solider pay his own disability out of his retirement after all we are talking about giving illegal aliens the kitchen sink why not the solders ,job training,better education for family and help with bills.
As a country we need to wake up and take care of those that truly do the country calling because the ones that are all over the TV and in the new paper are enjoying now what soldier prior and present have been great at doing, serving there country when call and serving it well

As a student in the Veteran Business Training Center I'm leaning new thing. Thing that other were doing and were amazeing to me. Here I am posting my own blog and feel good.
I have read my peer blog and all of them has amazing insight.

As the years pastest I think in terms of past, present and future. In bygone years life were limited. Those limitation sometimes included were I could go, what I could and whom i could do it with. In current times not much has change. Now Listen you, do not get me wrong, things has changes but as the saying goes, "the more thing change the more they stay the same". Example: in the past ,I could go down town but I could not eat at the best resturants,and take out was my only option. Today the option has changed and I can eat at the best resturant but cannot afford price. O'yes that is the same as it was yesteryears. Thing are better then yeateryears because then I could only get take out,even if I could afford the price. Today I can get take and eat in the dinning room but thing are still the same because it cost money then and it cost money now.

Remember this as you read my blog , I am a wonder mind, sitting and dreaming of tomorrow while holding on to the past,during it all in the present. I am only what I was in the past with the present being nothing more then my baggage from the past and the future is that door you must step thur baggage and all.

It use to be that serving in the military was a sure ticket to bigger and better things. In this new world all have changed, no longer do other care about the sacrifice that have been made for the country, they care more about what is in it for them. After serving in the military the hardest part of my adult life is trying to survive as a Civilian. Getting and keeping a good job tend to be the biggest problem.
This is a challenge that has all but worn me down. Plants in my area has been closing down monthly and finally the closing knocked at my door. A fortune five hundred company decided to close plants and cut jobs. The one plant in my area was closed down, leaving many people without work. The company gave a ninety days notice before closing down.
I made the decision, to use this time, to farther my education. I did well in school and really enjoyed my time their. After completing school I had high hopes that with my expereinces and my newly gotten education, I would have little problem getting a job, was I wrong . All I could get was parttime and temps jobs. Fifteen weeks ago I was working with the county as a full time temp, the job paid little money, but it helped with the bills. I excepted this job in hope that it would be easier getting a better job from within. That did not work out either.
Five months ago I heard about the Purple heart foundation Virtual Training center. I decided to give this a try. My biggest reason for doing this, was the hope that this would be an opportunity to experiences something that I have been missing since getting out of the military. I had plan on working both jobs but that did not work out. With me there was no trust in what I was being told. To my surprise this has been a great experience. I have learn and did things in The Virtual Business Center that have only dream about.
It has so far lived up to it billing of giving veterans a chance. As an upper classmen I have had the chance to talk and witness to other veterans. Most wanting to know is this for real, as I tell them this is the real deal and that I would recommend it to every veterans. When you think about it, those things that are effeting veteran in the outside world has no place here. A list of those things are: age, experiences, location, work history%
